Parents and teachers choose Ehrhart for our small class sizes, TEKS based curriculum, fine arts, STEM, and athletics. Currently, we serve students in grades Pre-K through eighth.

Ehrhart is accepting applications for new K - 8th students until April 2, 2021. We will begin accepting applications for our bilingual PK program in April. Applications can be picked up in our main office (3420 Fannin Beaumont, Texas) or downloaded here. Ehrhart is a tuition-free public charter school, and we accept students residing within the geographic boundaries of the following school districts:

Beaumont
Buna
East Chambers
Hamshire-Fannett
Harding-Jefferson
Little Cypress-Mauriceville
Lumberton
Nederland
Port Arthur
Port Neches
Vidor
West Orange-Cove
Woodville

(We are not conducting school tours at this time because of Covid 19. )

The Ehrhart School earned 4 distinctions from the Texas Education Agency for being a Top 25% in Student Progress, Top 25% in Closing the Gaps, Math, and English Language Arts/Reading in 2019. Click here for our Accountability Report. 

Ehrhart is accepting applications for a K – 8th RTI Reading/Dyslexia Specialist for the 2021 – 2022 school year. Qualified applicants can apply here.

The Ehrhart School is a Title I school. This means that more than 50% of our students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches. Title I is a federal program that gives additional money to schools that qualify this way. All students are benefited by this money which helps us to enhance instruction for all students.
