7th/8th Grade Math Teacher
I graduated from Lancaster High School in Lancaster, OH in 1989.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas A&M.
I attend middle school math conferences each year, along with general education, and behavioral conferences. I also attended Lead4Ward’s “Think!” conference in 2019.
This is my fifth year teaching 7th/8th Grade Math...all at Ehrhart!
I served as an Army officer for 13 years after graduating from Texas A&M, including two deployements to Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and 2006. After leaving the Army I served in various leadership positions with Asea Brown Boveri, Republic Services Inc, and Progressive Waste Solutions.
My wife and I also volunteer with our church’s children’s ministry and I have enjoyed various opportunities to volunteer with children wherever I was stationed.
I got married in 2015 to the most wonderful woman I know. I have two older boys (Troy – 19 and Chad – 14) who live out of state. I have three lovely children at home: Cambrie is 9yrs and a 4th grader at Ehrhart, Nathan is 2, and Miriam is 9 months. I love my family with all of my heart and these babies keep me on my toes! :)
I am a Christian and am currently involved in a discipleship group and community Bible study group.
I love to read, especially John Grisham, Tom Clancy, and Michael Crichton books.
I enjoy playing golf when I can (not very well...haha) and I’m a big sports fan – the Aggies, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and Houston Rockets are my favorite sports teams.
